  1. D.R.

    Are there replacement blades?

    • Justin Hines

Yes, use Slice 10404 or Slice 10408 blades as replacements.

  2. Jen

Is the ceramic blade sharper than a normal steel blade?

    • SafetyCutters.net

Ceramic and steel blades are different. Ceramic blades are safer for consumer use but many find steel blades to be more useful in high volume settings.

  3. Gem

    Could this cut cardboard?

    • SafetyCutters.net

Yes, this box cutter works well at cutting through cardboard.

  4. T

What does it mean that the blade doesn’t lock?

    • Justin Hines

Non Locking simply means it’s an Auto Retract function – as you release your finger from the slider button the blade automatically retracts into the housing for safety. Most of our corporate customers prefer or even require this feature on the model 10503. Hope this helps and thank you!

  5. Parker

It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made, the ceramic blade cuts cardboard easily. The box cutter is worth the money.

  6. ken s.

    Excellent tool!

  7. Bill (verified owner)

Comfortable to use. You have to hold the slider, but I find it safe to use for my arthritis. I find it much easier than scissors for flattening boxes.
